On the afternoon of September 23, 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) (Singapore) was invited to participate in the "China (Shenzhen-Bao'an) - Singapore Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Conference," hosted by the People's Government of Bao'an District, Shenzhen. The event was attended by the People's Government of Bao'an District, Shenzhen, a delegation of business representatives, local Singaporean business associations, and prominent Singaporean entrepreneurs.

September 21 to 22, 2024, the "Summit Forum and Training Session on International Arbitration and Mediation under a Global Perspective", hosted by the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Hong Kong Arbitration Center (APIAC-HKAC), was successfully held in Hong Kong, China. This event gathered well-known experts and senior lawyers in the field of international commercial dispute settlement, and offered a rich learning experience combining knowledge and practice insights to participants from various professional associations of the legal industry, prestigious law firms and corporate legal departments.

On 20 September, 2024, Mr Cao Jianxiong, the Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Hong Kong Arbitration Center，Ms Deng Zhaoying, the Chief Representatives of Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Malaysia) ("APIAC (Malaysia)"), Ms Yin Lingling, the Representatives of APIAC (Malaysia), Ms Yong Shun Yee, the Deputy Secretary-General of APIAC (Malaysia) attended the event titled "Elevating Asian Arbitration: The Latest Practice and Prospect in International Arbitration in China and Malaysia", which was co-hosted by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Hong Kong Arbitration Center and the Asian International Arbitration Center (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur.

On September 14th,2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Hong Kong Arbitration Center (APIAC-HKAC) with the Hong Kong International Commerce Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The APIAC-HKAC and the Hong Kong International Commerce Association have conducted many discussions on how enterprises can use international arbitration to resolve disputes, the trends of international arbitration, and the opportunities for Chinese lawyers in the development of international arbitration business. And we reached a broad consensus on deepening the overseas business and arbitration services of members of the Hong Kong International Commerce Association and green partners with APIAC-HKAC.

The first Global Industrial Development and Security Forum, themed "New Landscape of Global Development and New Challenges of International Security" was grandly held in Shenzhen on September 19, 2024. The forum, hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC) and organized by the Chenghai Institute of Global Development and Security, RUC, along with the Institute of Advanced Social Sciences (Shenzhen), the School of International Relations, and the School of Global and Area Studies, also featured the unveiling ceremony of the Chenghai Institute of Global Development and Security (Shenzhen), RUC. Mr. Ma Zhanjun, President of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber(“APIAC”), was invited to attend the forum.

On the morning of September 11, 2024, the "RCEP and Foreign Trade Rules Interpretation and Promotion Seminar", guided by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and hosted by the Dadukou District Commission of Commerce, was successfully held in Dadukou. Mr. Zheng Wensheng, member of the Party Group of the District Commission of Commerce and Deputy Director of the District Commerce Development Center, leaders from the Dadukou District Commission of Commerce, representatives from foreign trade enterprises in Dadukou District, and heads of foreign trade operation service platform companies attended the seminar. Director Cai Yue from the APIAC - Legal Services Center for Global Taiwan-invested Enterprises Integrated with RCEP Affairs was invited to deliver a keynote speech.

On the morning of September 10, 2024, the highly anticipated 16th “Chongqing-Taiwan Week” officially commenced in Chongqing. The event, co-hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, attracted enthusiastic participation from numerous cross-strait entrepreneurs and young professionals. Cai Yue, Director of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) - Legal Service Center for Global Taiwan-invested Enterprises Integrated with RCEP Affairs was invited to attend the event.

On 13 September 2024, Mr Cao Jianxiong, Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Hong Kong Arbitration Center (APIAC-HKAC), and Ms Li Xinyi, Secretary-General of APIAC-HKAC, were invited to visit the Asia Global Institute of The University of Hong Kong. They held a meeting with the Asia Global Institute Fellows Dr. Ilker Ersegun Kayhan and Dr. Lin Zaw Min. The participants had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the history and development trend of international arbitration in Asia, and will work together to enhance Hong Kong's status as a centre for international legal and dispute resolution services in Asia-Pacific region.

The 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia from September 9 to 11, 2024. The Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Malaysia) (“APIAC (Malaysia)”) was among the distinguished participants, joining over 4,000 global business leaders in this grand event. With the theme "Reimagineering the Future", the convention focused on contemporary topics such as geopolitical economy, artificial intelligence, trade and investment, cooperative innovation, and inclusive development.

On both September 11 and 12, 2024, Mr Cao Jianxiong, Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Hong Kong Arbitration Center (APIAC-HKAC), and Ms Li Xinyi, Secretary-General of APIAC-HKAC participated in the 9th Belt and Road Summit held in Hong Kong SAR, China. The summit attracted over 6,000 participants from countries and regions along the Belt & Road. They included government representatives from more than 10 countries, numerous business leaders, over 100 delegations and 38 Chinese state-owned enterprises.

On September 6, 2024, Ma Zhanjun, President of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC), was invited to attend the "Sichuan Development Legal Forum" organized by Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd., where he delivered a specialized seminar on international arbitration. Representatives from numerous companies, including Sichuan Development Guorun Environmental Investment Co., Ltd., Sichuan Forestry Group Co., Ltd, Sichuan development Guorui Mining Investment Co., Ltd., Sichuan Development International Holding Co., Ltd/ Sichuan Development Aviation Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Biopharmaceutical Industry Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Development Industrial Fund Management., Ltd., Sichuan Development Land Asset Operation and Management Co., Ltd., Sichuan Development Urban Construction Investment Co., Ltd., Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd., Sichuan Development Securities Investment Fund Management Co.,Ltd., Sichuan Development Emerging Industry Park Investment and Construction Management Co., Ltd., Southwest United Equity Exchange, Sichuan Development Assets Restructuring Investment Co., Ltd, Sichuan Development Big Data Industry Investment Co., Ltd., Sichuan Non-ferrous Technology Group Co., Ltd, Talent Group, and Lead Capital, were in attendance.

On June 19, 2024, the "(2024) APIAC No.6" arbitral award issued by Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Singapore) ("APIAC (Singapore)") was registered for enforcement at the First Intermediate People's Court of Tianjin Municipality (China), and successfully executed on August 27, 2024. This marks the first instance of an APIAC arbitral award being enforced in China.

On August 30, 2024, the "Southeast Asia Investment Legal Services Advancement Conference and the Inauguration Ceremony of the High-Tech Zone (Binjiang) Foreign-Related Legal Services Tiantai Workstation" was successfully held.

On August 29, 2024, Mr. Li Zhengming, Executive Committee Member and Managing Partner of Zhong Lun W&D Law Firm; Mr. Huang Shuqiu, Deputy Director and Senior Partner; and Ms. Jia Yuqin, Senior Partner, visited the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) Southwest Service Center (Chongqing), where they were warmly welcomed by Ms. Wan Shiqi, Chief Representative of the APIAC Legal Service Center for Global Taiwan-Invested Enterprises Integrated with RCEP Affairs; and Ms. Zhang Yifan, Chief Representative of APIAC Southwest Service Center (Chongqing).

On the morning of August 29, 2024, several esteemed legal and arbitration experts visited the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) (Singapore). The delegation included Mr. Tony Budidjaja, an arbitrator at the APIAC and Chairman of the Indonesia Academy of Independent Mediators and Arbitrators; Mr. A. Setiadi, a partner at 36 Sovereign Chambers; Mr. Reynard Kristian, Managing Associate at Budidjaja International Lawyers; Mr. Jonathan Chung, a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; and Mr. Mian Sheraz Javaid, Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb) Pakistan Branch.
