Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Singapore) Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Shenzhen Bao'an District Qianhai Expansion Area

On the afternoon of September 23, 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) (Singapore) was invited to participate in the "China (Shenzhen-Bao'an) - Singapore Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Conference," hosted by the People's Government of Bao'an District, Shenzhen. The event was attended by the People's Government of Bao'an District, Shenzhen, a delegation of business representatives, local Singaporean business associations, and prominent Singaporean entrepreneurs.

Mr. Dong Zhe, the Deputy District Mayor of Bao'an District, Ms. Song Xia, Vice President of the Belt and Road International Association, and Mr. Kang Yiming, Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Office, Embassy of Chinese in Singapore, delivered opening remarks. Mr. Yang Haidong, Director of the Enterprise Service Center of Shenzhen Bao'an District, gave a promotional speech.

At the conference, the APIAC (Singapore) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Enterprise Service Center of Shenzhen Bao'an District in Singapore, officially establishing the APIAC Greater Bay Area Service Center in the Qianhai expansion area of Bao'an District.

Bao'an District boasts an exceptional business environment with rapid development in the field of foreign legal affairs. The establishment of the APIAC Greater Bay Area Service Center in the Bao'an District Qianhai expansion area represent significant expansions of its business operations. Going forward, the APIAC will leverage the unique advantages of the Qianhai area to actively facilitate the resolution of foreign-related trade disputes. It aims to contribute to the creation of a market-oriented, rule-of-law-based, and international business environment in Bao'an District, and is committed to providing more professional and efficient arbitration services for cross-border investment and trade disputes.
