Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) Successfully Hosts Professional Training for Arbitration Secretaries

From May 14th to 17th, 2024, Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) successfully hosted a four-day professional training for arbitration secretaries. The training aimed to enhance the professional understanding and skills of the Indonesian arbitration secretary team in international arbitration, thereby further improving service quality.

The training provided an in-depth introduction to the background of the establishment of  Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia), its functional positioning, and a detailed interpretation of the basic knowledge and cutting-edge dynamics of international commercial arbitration, as well as the rules of arbitration and mediation of the Board. The training also covered significant issues and standard procedures in mediation and arbitration practice, as well as training in legal document writing and case handling scenario simulations. Through expert lectures, case analysis, and scenario simulations, the arbitration secretaries gained a deep understanding of the operating mechanisms and practical operations of international arbitration. Detailed explanations were given on arbitration rules, mediation skills, and the production of legal documents, providing the arbitration secretaries with professional knowledge and valuable practical experience.

After this training, the professional competence and business capabilities of the Indonesian arbitration secretary team have been significantly enhanced, laying a solid foundation for the continuous development of Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia). The Board will continue to be committed to cultivating a professional and efficient arbitration secretary team, providing parties with higher quality and more efficient international arbitration legal services.
