APIAC(Indonesia) participated in the 7th China Trade Fair Indonesia 2024

Jakarta, June 4, 2024 - The Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) participated in the 7th China Trade Fair Indonesia 2024, held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) in Indonesia’s capital city.

Mr. Xia Guoming, Executive Vice President of the China Educational Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA), Mr. Yahya Sutarya, Deputy Administrative Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), and Mr. Li Feng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Indonesia, delivered speeches at the opening of the Trade Fair. Deputy Secretary General Xie Bin of the APIAC attended the Trade Fair along with the APIAC(Indonesia) team.

Serving as an efficient platform for product promotion and transactions, the trade fair not only provides opportunities for buyers and suppliers but also offers new avenues for participants to enter the Indonesian market and expand product channels. Additionally, it aims to further deepen cooperation in the commercial, economic, and trade sectors between China and Indonesia, encouraging Chinese enterprises to invest and trade in Indonesia, while also promoting Indonesian businesses to explore opportunities in China.

During the event, APIAC (Indonesia) engaged extensively with participants from various sectors including international power and renewable energy, international maternity and infant products, and international textile industries. The APIAC (Indonesia) team gained insights into the current commercial landscape and the business needs of companies operating in Indonesia. Furthermore, the APIAC (Indonesia) team held discussions with Mr. Pan Jianjun, Chairman of Meorient International Exhibition, introducing the international arbitration system of the APIAC, its business development model, and the advantages of APIAC as a local international arbitration institution in Indonesia for dispute resolution services. Additionally, it provided insights into the current development status and operational situation of Meorient International Exhibition. Through in-depth communication, both parties enhanced their understanding of each other and expressed their expectations for further cooperation in relevant fields to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
