2024 APIAC - Advanced Legal Training Program Is Now Open for Enrollment

I. Course Overview

In the context of deepening global integration and the consistent progression of the "Belt and Road Initiative," China’s collaborations with other countries across social, economic, and cultural fields have become increasingly intensive. This has brought unprecedented opportunities with China's international legal services sector, while also raising the bar for professional standards.

The APIAC-Singapore Advanced Legal Training Program is a specialized project jointly organized by the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) and International Growth Management Pte. Ltd., featuring lectures by distinguished instructors from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. This program is crafted to provide a platform for experts, scholars, lawyers, and other professionals engaged in international legal affairs to exchange and share insights on the latest research, trends, and key topics in international dispute resolution. Upon successful completion of the entire course, participants will receive a certification issued by the organizing institutions.

II. Course Features

Expert Faculty

The program's instructional team is led by professors from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, and includes renowned international arbitrators, senior legal consultants, prominent lawyers from leading law firms, and scholars from top global universities.

Diverse Curriculum

The course will focus on cutting-edge cases and practical applications in international dispute resolution, particularly in the areas of the Singapore legal system and international arbitration. Furthermore, the course design will integrate various practical teaching methods, including detailed case analyses and practical debates, to create a comprehensive, multi-dimensional learning platform for participants.

Emphasis on Interaction and Exchange

To enhance participant interaction, the program will include group discussion sessions. These sessions will encourage participants to freely debate and explore trending topics in international arbitration. Through the exchange of ideas and the collision of perspectives, participants will sharpen their practical skills in resolving complex legal issues.

Participants in the APIAC-Singapore Advanced Legal Training Program will have the opportunity to visit prominent arbitration institutions, universities, government agencies, law firms, and leading enterprises in Singapore. These visits will offer an immersive experience of the local legal environment and practical processes. By participating in on-site observations, individuals can gain direct insights into Singapore’s advanced systems and successful practices, which have established it as a leading arbitration hub in Asia and globally.

 

Participants who successfully complete all online and offline courses and activities will receive:

1. A certificate jointly issued by the National University of Singapore and APIAC

2. Priority consideration for appointment as an APIAC arbitrator or mediator
