On the morning of December 3, 2025, the APIAC Indonesia Board delegation formally visited the Supreme Court of Indonesia. The delegation was led by Ms. Rita Yang, Assistant to the President and Director of the APIAC Global Secretariat; Ms. Iris Pan, Director of the APIAC Southeast Asia Development Center; and Ms. Flora Cai, APIAC’s Representative in Indonesia. They were joined by more than thirty distinguished lawyers from China. The Supreme Court accorded the delegation exceptional importance, with a warm reception by Judges Eva Margareta Manurung, S.H., M.H., Nadia Yurisa Adila, S.H., M.H., Dr. Fikri Habibi, S.H., M.H., and Dr. Muhammad Afif, S.H., M.H.

At the beginning of the visit, the Supreme Court of Indonesia provided an overview of the historical evolution of the country’s judicial system, outlining its core institutional framework and the ongoing modernization reforms that reinforce its authoritative role in advancing the rule of law. Through this briefing, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the Supreme Court’s operational principles—marked by independence, impartiality, and procedural rigor.

During the discussion session, representatives of the Supreme Court shared insights into Indonesia’s legal practice and institutional development. The APIAC Indonesia Board delegation, drawing on its observations of global arbitration trends, presented perspectives on cross-border dispute resolution and the evolving landscape of regional arbitration. The two sides engaged in in-depth and constructive dialogue on several key topics, with exchanges that were both substantive and academically meaningful.

The delegation also toured the Supreme Court Museum, where Indonesia’s judicial history is vividly presented through holographic displays, interactive projection, and augmented-reality technology, offering visitors an immersive and engaging experience.
随后,代表团参观了最高法院博物馆。馆内通过全息影像、互动投影和增强现实技术生动展示印尼司法历史,为代表团提供沉浸式体验。

At the conclusion of the visit, APIAC representatives Rita Yang and Iris Pan exchanged commemorative plaques with Supreme Court representative Eva Margareta Manurung, S.H., M.H., symbolizing not only the further deepening of their friendship but also a shared vision of moving forward together on the basis of mutual trust.
