On June 15, 2024, Beijing Pinxuan Technology Co., Ltd. led a delegation to visit the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) [hereinafter referred to as APIAC (Indonesia)]. On May 31, Beijing time, and the afternoon of May 30, local time, the inauguration ceremony for the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber Canada Arbitration Center was grandly held in Montreal, the second largest city in Canada. Mr. Ma Zhanjun, President of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber, and Ms. Anne-France Goldwater, Director of the renowned Canadian law firm Goldwater Dube, attended the inauguration ceremony. In addition, those in attendance at the ceremony included: Lawyers Vanna Vong, Daniel Romano, Danny Ablacatoff, Chen Zhang, Christian Ferron, Emre Barak, and Ms. Yang Lin, Manager of the Financial Markets Department at OTT Financial Inc., as well as other representatives from major local law firms and business leaders.

On the afternoon of May 28th, 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) was invited to participate in the China (Hunan) - Singapore Investment and Trade Cooperation Conference. The conference was held in the Corell Conference Hall on the 4th floor of the Fairmont Hotel, Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.

On the afternoon of May 23rd, 2024, under the recommendation of the United Front Work Department of Dadukou District Committee, the Dadukou District Urban Operation Company, and the Wokeup Cross-Strait Enterprise Incubator, Wan Shiqi, the Deputy Director of Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber - Legal Service Center for Global Taiwan-invested Enterprises Integrated with RCEP Affairs, and her team visited the Chongqing (Dadukou) Taiwan Small and Medium Enterprise Industrial Park. They conducted work exchanges with several Taiwan enterprises and had in-depth discussions on issues encountered by Taiwan-invested enterprises in international trade, the role of international arbitration in international commercial trade, and the function of Legal Service Center for Global Taiwan-invested Enterprises Integrated with RCEP Affairs.

On the morning of May 21, 2024, Dean Deng Shanxia, Director He Qiuzhu, Ms. Liu Wenhui, Ms. Lei Shuya, along with 23 postgraduate students from the Law School of Chengdu University, collectively visited the Southwest Service Center of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Sichuan) to carry out a "Legal Service Learning" exchange activity. From May 14th to 17th, 2024, Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) successfully hosted a four-day professional training for arbitration secretaries. The training aimed to enhance the professional understanding and skills of the Indonesian arbitration secretary team in international arbitration, thereby further improving service quality.

The opening ceremony was held at 10 a.m. in the center of Kuala Lumpur, attended and witnessed by notable figures from the legal and financial sectors, including Mr. Ma Zhanjun, President of APIAC, Datuk Lawrence S.F Chiong, Ms. Jane Yeo, Lawyer, Mr. C.Y Chan, Executive Director of DLC Consulting Ltd., Lawyer Raymond Ho, a senior Malaysian lawyer, and Lawyer Kevin Li from Zhang Shengfan Law Firm.

Service of process in international commercial arbitration refers to the act of parties, the arbitral tribunal, or arbitration institution delivering relevant arbitration documents to other parties within the framework of the arbitration proceedings. The service of process is a crucial link in arbitration, playing a central role in propelling the procedure forward by facilitating the transfer of arbitration materials among various entities involved in arbitration. In practical terms, the primary purpose of arbitration service is to notify the recipient, enabling them to receive and understand the contents of the arbitration materials in a timely manner. This aids them in effectively participating in the arbitration process, fully exercising their rights to respond, counterclaim, appoint arbitrators, and present cases, thereby advancing the development of the arbitration process. Given that parties involved in international commercial arbitration often reside in different countries, effective implementation of service to ensure all parties are aware of the progress of the arbitration process within an appropriate time frame becomes an extremely important issue.

On the morning of April 24, 2024, Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Indonesia) grandly opened. The opening ceremony was held at 10 a.m. local time in Jakarta at the Beltway Office.
