Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber was invited to participate in the China (Hunan) - Singapore Investment and Trade Cooperation Conference

On the afternoon of May 28th, 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) was invited to participate in the China (Hunan) - Singapore Investment and Trade Cooperation Conference. The conference was held in the Corell Conference Hall on the 4th floor of the Fairmont Hotel, Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.

Zhang Yingchun, the Standing Committee Member of the Hunan Provincial Committee and the Standing Deputy Governor of Hunan Province, and Zong Changqing, the Minister Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore, attended and delivered a speech. Leaders and business representatives from Changsha City, Loudi City, Changsha Free Trade Zone, Changsha Economic Development Zone, Yueyang Free Trade Zone, and other relevant cities and zones in Hunan Province attended the conference. APIAC Committee Member Zheng Xinren and Cai Yue, the Director of APIAC Southwest Service Center, attended the conference.

The purpose of the conference is to strengthen trade, investment, and technological innovation partnerships between Hunan and Singapore. It aims to showcase the latest economic and social development in Hunan, along with its policies on opening up to the outside world. The conference seeks to encourage cooperation and exchange in key industries and sectors, ultimately aiming for mutual benefits and a win-win situation.

The conference concluded successfully, with APIAC engaging in in-depth discussions with relevant departments and key enterprise representatives on important topics related to international arbitration in the context of Hunan-Singapore cooperation. The conference provided valuable insights and suggestions to promote collaboration between Hunan and Singapore. In the future, APIAC will uphold its service philosophy of efficiency, convenience, openness, inclusiveness, fairness, and justice. Leveraging the strengths of Singapore's international arbitration services and its role in international trade and economic activities, APIAC will actively promote Hunan-Singapore cooperation. It will provide a professional, high-quality, fair, and efficient legal service platform and legal protection for trade, investment, and technological innovation cooperation between Hunan and Singapore.
