Call for Papers:The Study of International Arbitration (Issue 2)
The Study of International Arbitration is founded by Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) and Macao Institute of International Arbitration (ISSN:2958-1990). The second issue of The Study of International Arbitration focuses on international arbitration, aiming to advance the academic field and seeks by exploring various aspects of international arbitration. In order to enrich the journal's content and elevate the standards of the journal, a call for papers is now open.
The Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) is dedicated to promoting the application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the field of international arbitration and mediation. Since its establishment, APIAC has targeted the market of small and medium-sized trade disputes in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-ASEAN cooperation, providing international arbitration and legal services. APIAC has conducted exchanges on international arbitration in various countries and regions, including China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and others.
The Macao Institute of International Arbitration is a non-profit private academic organization established on Oct. 14 2020 with the approval of the Macao SAR Government. The Institute is committed to the implementing of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, fulfilling its responsibility to serve the society with academic excellence, and actively promoting international arbitration.
I. Submission Themes
Research on domestic and international arbitration laws and arbitration rules, theories of commercial arbitration, establishment of arbitration institutions, analysis of typical arbitration cases, and the cutting-edge development of international commercial arbitration.
Ⅱ. Submission Guidelines:
1. Manuscripts should have clear, sufficient and rigorous arguments, including a title, abstract, keywords, author's name and profile, text and notes.
2. Language, length and format requirements: in English or traditional Chinese, within 8,000-12,000 words. For more detailed formatting guidelines, please refer to the article issued on 25 August 2021 on the official WeChat account: Macao Arbitration.
3. Manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere (including the Internet).
4. Manuscripts must comply with academic norms, as well as copyright laws and regulations. must not plagiarise and infringe. If the manuscript infringes on the rights of others, the authors shall bear the corresponding legal responsibility.
5. The journal has the right to modify the text of the manuscript, if you do not agree with the modification, please specify when submitting the manuscript;
6. The accepted articles will be published in The Study of International Arbitration.
Ⅲ. Author Payment
Authors whose articles are accepted and published will receive payment based on the length of the article: 150 RMB/thousand words. Payment may be increased appropriately for articles of high academic quality.
