APIAC invited to participate in the Sino-Foreign Cooperation Sharing Conference: Dialogue with Singapore.

On October 28, 2024, the Sino-Foreign Cooperation Sharing Conference: Dialogue with Singapore co-hosted by the Center for China and Globalization Institute of New Economy (CCGINE) and the Singcham Sichuan Center was successfully held. Mr. Ma Zhanjun, President of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Center (APIAC), was invited to attend as a key representative and guest speaker. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Joel Tan Zhien, Consul-General of Singapore in Chengdu; Mr. Zhong Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the CCG and Executive Dean of the CCGINE; Ms. Jessi Lim, Chairman of theSingcham Sichuan Center; and representatives from approximately 30 Chinese and Singaporean companies and institutions.

At the event, President Ma gave a brief introduction to the APIAC and shared his insights on the role of legal services in building long-term cooperative relationships and win-win mechanisms between Sichuan and Singaporean enterprises. He emphasized APIAC's adherence to the principle of neutrality, highlighting its comprehensive arbitration legal service system, covering aspects from the language of arbitration and the composition of the arbitrator team to case management and enforcement assistance. It is committed to providing high-quality arbitration services for "Chinese enterprises going global" and "foreign-funded enterprises coming to China", helping enterprises resolve cross-border disputes, and safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.

The Cooperation Sharing Conference provided a platform for Attendees introduced their respective business areas and cooperation needs. The discussions revolved around the opportunities and challenges faced by Chinese companies going global, as well as cooperation and win-win scenarios between Sichuan and Singaporean enterprises. The conference was aimed at facilitating cooperation between the two regions, enabling enterprises to seize opportunities, address challenges, and create a new landscape of mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation.
